Letter of Recommendation for Shawn Barghout
Shawn designed our retirement home for us about ten years ago. We had some
very specific needs and wishes that we were having difficulty with, and she was
wonderful at making suggestions and providing solutions for us that worked
perfectly. We are still enjoying our home (and her design) today, and would very
highly recommend her services!

Shawn has a great instinct and eye for design and decoration. But beyond that, she consistently makes an all out effort to do things in the very best way possible. She carefully considers situations and you can depend on her to do the right thing. I strongly recommend her.

Shawn Barghout/The Designers Eye has asked me for a letter of reference, which I am glad to give.
I am an owner/builder just completing my 1st house.
I had worked with a good architect in the past, spent a lot of money and time with plans, but the project never got off the ground.
Before deciding to proceed again, 4 highly recommended draftsmen and women were interviewed. All were fairly close in price, but one of the reasons Shawn was selected was her can do attitude.
She helped me formulate my plans and put up with many changes, instigated my me, in a efficient and professional manner.
The plans passed quickly through the county with only a few minor red line comments. Not enough to warrant a re-submittal.
Two of the many sub-contractors complained about not enough detail on the plans, but maybe it was a combination of their and my inexperience.
In the end, another house is planned, and the 1st person I’ll contact is Shawn.

She was prompt, cheerful and pleasant, but mostly she was full of ideas and suggestions. She neither agreed with whatever I came up with nor did she negate my ideas. I am well pleased. She left me with resources, more ideas that I can probably afford to do! and made me glad I decided to use a designer.

Thank you so much Shawn Barghout for coming into my home and giving me such amazing ideas about how to “revive” my home. I do not have a creative flair for decorating and for such a reasonable price, you have done all of that for me. I can’t wait to get started and I appreciate all your time and ideas.
